To ensure comparability across our Demand Measurement system, every title on-boarded to the system needs to have "premiered" somewhere, that is, the title needs to have released one full episode, on any platform and in any market.
The true value of our Demand Measurement system is that it ignores geographic boundaries and windows, for a truly ubiquitous view on global demand for content: As long as a TV show has released one full episode, in any market (US, China, Brazil, etc) and on any platform (SVOD, linear, PayTV, etc) – and provided the title meets the minimum data requirements - then its global demand data will immediately be available to be consumed via our Demand Portal and Demand API.
Further, to ensure comparability across our Demand Measurement system, every title on-boarded to the system needs to have its demand captured across all "data streams" such as social media, downloading/streaming, video streaming, blogging, etc. This same process applied to both English and non-English language content.
Regardless of the country of origin, once a title has been validated across all data streams (refer to steps 1-4), its global demand will be measured and available for consumption via our Demand Portal and Demand API.
